As I’m talking with different business owners, the question that keeps coming up again and again is, “Can I do Facebook marketing myself?”
My reply is “Yes, you can!”
If you or a team member are committed to learning and understanding marketing strategy AND how Facebook works and keeping up to date with all their changes, then you can certainly do it yourself.
If you have a business doing under 300K a year or your business is local in a community under 100K, then you can probably have a team member run your Facebook advertising successfully.
What about the rest of you?
You are sacrificing your business growth by trying to figure it all out yourself, all the while distracting yourself from what you do well, running your business.
Think of it this way.
Remember the first time you tried to ride a bike? I know it was a long time ago.
How many tries did it take to get it right? How much help did you have? Was your Mom or Dad running along beside you to help you get going? How many skinned knees and elbows were there?
After some practice, you took off and rode all by yourself.
Finally, after many rides it became second nature to hop on your bike and ride. I bet even if you haven’t ridden in years, you can get on a bike and ride.
Now do you want to take all that time and skinned knees and elbows to figure out your Facebook strategy?
Oh yes, and then when you think you have all the details down, Facebook goes and changes things again.
