Imagine for a moment that it’s one year from now and you have a Facebook marketing machine automatically bringing you a steady flow of new customers easily and effortlessly.
This can happen but. . .
It will take more than creating a few posts and connecting with others on Facebook.
As I’m sure you’ve seen Facebook does limit who your posts are shared with, and unless Facebook deems it worthy you will only reach a small percentage of your audience.
While this organic approach doesn’t cost as much cash it does take your time, and I don’t know about you, but I value my time more every year.
Yes, as I wrote earlier you can and should use organic Facebook, but to speed up your results you must add paid efforts.
When you do, you’ll find that your organic efforts start to show better results too.
Last night I was looking at a video that we had promoted for one of our clients.
It was a good video that showed my clients business on the Today show. We took that clip and posted it on Facebook.
Now if we stopped there we would have gotten 15,000 to 20,000 views, which is pretty good. . .
However, as of last night, we had 168,000 total views. 101,493 of them were paid and 66,507 of them were organic.
We would have never reached this level of organic exposure without adding the paid effort, and the earlier organic work we had done had paid off.
We already had an audience that is connected to us and growing every day.
A Facebook strategy that is effective (profitable) is one that uses all the tools available.
You won’t reach your full potential if you only use organic or paid marketing alone.
With various strategies, you may want to invest more energy in the organic or paid options, but you’ll want to use both throughout your Facebook marketing efforts.
Don’t limit your success by deciding before you begin that you’ll only use organic or paid strategies.
Be open to experimenting and expand on what works.
