The contest ran for 45 days and we spent $680 on Facebook promoting the event. This was the only promotion we did for the contest.

When it was over, we announced our winner (who had over 1000 votes). Here’s what Amanda had to say about the results from their 45-day campaign and investment of $680:

  • We grew our likes to 897. We now had them to market to and their friends
  • The winner had more than 100 guests so the extra sales we brought in covered our cost for the free wedding
  • We booked two additional weddings from entrants who didn’t win. The value of each wedding on average is over $10,000.
